As the days grow shorter, the stark tree branches and early sunsets remind us that even amid the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations, our nature this season is to pull inward, sleep and dream more, to quiet the noise and find refuge in silent moments and stillness.

This is the time of year when we clip a few evergreen branches to bring inside as a reminder that the green and growing season will return, and we celebrate both the resting time and the beautiful trees who keep their verdant greens all through the year.
