Hello, Friends --

August Blessings! 🌻

This last month of summer is one we savor, even as we long for a break from the heat and humidity. The song of the Cicadas serenades us from the trees, and the circle of life plays out on our windows as plump little green tree frogs claim their spots to wait for darkness and dinner -- the feast of insects drawn to the indoor lights.

The colors are beginning to shift from the green of summer to the golden hues of September, with the wild Black-eyed Susans showing off their lovely petals, and the goldenrod flowers beginning to open, sending their silent party invitation to the local pollinators -- the nectar bar is open.🌼🐝

Have you read the August chapter in your Gatherings from the Good Earth book? Reading the corresponding chapter each month is a wonderful way to stay in tune with the seasons, and it's great way to get inspired for the month. If you don't have your copy yet, plan to get your signed copy at the shop (or we can mail it to you).
